Has anyone watched bmw films on channel 352 (DirecTV)? If yes, any thoughts? It shows short films by well-known filmmakers. The channel assignment for it is weird (similar content to Sundance and Independent Film channels, bmw is placed in the neighborhood of cable news channels), so some people may not be familiar with it yet. :)

I didn't even know it was there. I'll check it out!

Is this a permanent channel, or are we likely to have it disappear after a few days or weeks? I found it while surfing through the channels this weekend. I caught most of "The Ticker", and the one with James Brown (overused story; good race sequence), but then had to run before I had the opportunity to watch more. If it is still running tonight, I'll UTV the series. It's not even listed on the program guide at DirecTV.com.

Some BMW films are being downloaded to DTivos. I'm not sure about regular Tivos as I don't have one.

The channel airs on Sats&Suns 6pm-9pm/ DECEMBER

On the DRD430rg the channel banner is always on.
But on the older Non Advanced EPGs it goes off.

Yes, they are being downloaded to regular TiVo's also. However 14 hour units (or those that TiVo thinks are 14 hour units) will only get the short trailer.
