Hi, My friends at directech are coming to the house for the 3rd time this month to reconfigure my 5lnb dish. I have no zinwell switch, just a straight shot from the dish into an HR 20-700 hd dvr and a sd r10 dvr. Here are my current readings on all Sat's. My question is this. What type of readings should I expect once they are done? Thanks for any and all help.

I would expect most signals on 101°, 110°, 119° to be in the low to mid 90s or higher, (remember there are spotbeams, so don't worry that all don't make 90s); with 103°(b) to be high 80s or higher. Ideally you'd like to see 90's on 103°(b), but that satellite is still under test, things could be still changing right now.

Good luck,
Tom

What's your zip code?

I had similar readings across the board. Seems that the bolts were not clamped down tight enough. I had a decay in my elevation that was causing things to not be peaked. After two turns on the elevation fine tuning everything improved that was at the low end by about 20 points.

Again this is dependent on your location.
