Other than the people who subscribe to the out of market package, why aren't the regional sports channels moving to the spotbeams?

Are there enough out of market sports package subs to justify locking up all those conus slots?

Some RSNs cover more physical area then the spot beam can cover.

My guess would be, too many complaints from AT100 subs only with a dish pointed at 119.

I live in DC. Our RSN CC Mid Atlantic has a coverage area that extends to the Carolinas. These things were not designed around DMAs.
