BBC America is on 264. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question though.

1 channel for sure BBC america
2 shows for sure on other channels: Dr. Who on SciFi and Torchwood on HDNET :D

I'm sure this is not what the OP means but a lot of American TV makes its way over to London, and is also broadcast on HDTV.

Yes it does - a channel called iTV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itv) had almost exclusively american programs but they're a season behind us (they also call a 'season' a 'series' to make it really confusing). For example Season 3 of House was in mid-stride in the States in March when I was in London and they were showing, first-run, episodes from Season 2 - same with Grey's Anatomy. At night they were playing NHL games on that channel as well.
