This Is Really Weird

OK, what's going on. Anybody reading any of my post knows I have not been able to get any of the test to pass, probably because I was only getting the even transponders on 301. Got a new slimline being installed in a couple of weeks. I come on the forum just now and read that 9300 and 9301 is up again. I figure what the hell, give it a shot. Guess what ---- I Have it! So I go to 480 & 481 and get both verifications, check the transponders on 301 and now have both even & odd signals in the 80's. I do have a black screen on 498 however.

Now does any of this make any sense other than we should have waited?

That black/gray screen was on here, too, a few min's ago on 498. Back on now. What changed w/ your setup, SkinsFan? Put the AU9-S in the garage for now....you may have something intermittent in that LNB.

Not sure what to make of this if nothing has changed with your system - maybe the lnb is going bad, that's the usual suspect when only the odd or even tp's go out. I'd still go through with a swap to the Slimline.

I just read on another post that when the 9300 &01 is on, the 498 goes black. Don't AU9, I am going to go ahead and get it installed anyway because I really don't like that AT9. When we did an alignment on Friday, the first thing was to get the mast leveled again. The heavy dish had pulled down on it more than the bolts on the side indicated.

Ok, just tried 498 and I am getting the Congrats screen, still getting 9300's, everything seems to be holding good ----- really weird!

Pay careful attention what type of LNB is on that Slimline when they show up with it. See if you can get a Wistron (WNC).
