Slimline LNB Question?

I have a question about my Slimline LNB. I purchased the dish on ebay. It's an Eagle Aspen LNB. The model on the LNB says 'DTVSDLNB'

The lnb doesn't have a cover on the side facing the dish. I have attatched a picture to this post. Is this going to be an issue going down the road or is the cover just for decoration? Thanks

That's normal. And please post how that works out for you once installed!

which LNB pickup which sat? there is one that is over the center area of the dish, one on the far end of the LNB assambly and a third one center between the other 2. I would guess the centered one picks up 99/100 and the end one picks up 110/119 and the middle one picks up 103. Is that anywhere near correct????

Thats normal for that brand of LNB. Don't care for them myself as it looks like stuff is missing, but that is the way they are.

Looking at the picture, the one to the far left is the 119, the middle 110 and the right is 103/101/99.

Speculation and rumor is that open space is for a LNB for the 95 at some future date.

It is installed. I know it looks like it's looking at the pillar, but its a 50 degree elevation and 58 degree skew. Works great. High 90's on the Ku sats, mid 90's on the Ka sats. Just installed it late Saturday/early Sunday.

No. there is a nice open sky heading the way the dish needs to be aimed.
