So they get the 508 installed, wait a few days and move it to its new home and account? The original person already has CC autopay and top 150

Well as long as the sub keeps the top 150 and CC autopay will E care? Its a unique question I never saw anyone ask before...

After your one year contract you can do anything you want with the receiver, but you will probably not get anymore out of the receiver, maybe not as much as you have in it. If they do keep it past the first year then you would want to get the 1.99 extended warranty.

So he wants to be able to get the receiver to give to a friend, this is a very interesting question. I doubt Dish would allow this because it was not intended on being given away, but to keep good customers for a longer period of time.

Iwas planning on doing this exact thing. I just wanted an inexpensive sub-$99 PVR for the upstairs. A friend of mine had a 501. I figured I would get it installed, about 2 weeks later we swap out the units (and my friend pay $125 of the $199 since he gets a new 60 hour unit and I would get a used 501). From a financial position, dish should not care as long as I have the AT150 and CC Autopay for 1 year.

But my friend had like 20+ hours of unwatched stuff on his 501, so I just decided to go for the $199 myself and make life easier
