Can someone tell me?

I have had 4 hr20-100 refurb's in the last 3 months or so:nono2: . They keep failing for various reasons. This one tuner 2 comes and goes, usually a reset fixes the problem. When I called last night to D*. All they can do is refurbs. It would make more sense to me to send a a " new unit" because if you figure time and fedex charges and aggrevation is it worth the $ they save on this. (i know its about $450 new), but can anyone tell me why not just stop and fix the problem or atleast send out a hr20-700 series instead. Since that one still works for me. Any advice would be helpful cause I don't want to loose my data again so i told them not to send another unit out untill this one goes completely bad.

Sometimes you can go to BB or CC and buy one new there ($299) and then get D* to credit your account with the same.

Then you get a new unit - and usually a 700.

Pays to call and tell them first though.
