This is just a quick bug report of something I experienced last night on my 622.
While scanning locals (OTA HD) I received a call, which displayed the caller id on my screen. I pressed OK to clear the prompt, and after a minute or two realized that the scanning processes hadn't moved since the Caller ID popped up. I restarted it and it went through just fine.
Basically the scanning fails to restart after a Caller ID event.
I didn't try and duplicate it as I was hurrying to get my local NBC mapped properly for Heroes. Nor did I check my software version, but I believe it is the latest as I have the new features (recording grouping, tips while in standby, external hd support...).
If this topic should be moved, by all means go ahead.
BTW: Thanks for all the help this community has provided with regards to my 622 and E* in general!
