What is the weight of a 3900 ?

I need to know the weight of a 3900 including box weight.

Put it in a box, drive to the post office, and ask to have it weighed.

Any USPS counter clerk will weigh your package. Also, most POs have a scale in the lobby, or any MBE will give you a courtesy weigh.

If you can find a retail DBS web site that sells a 3900, go through the order process until you find the shipping weight stated.

5.5 lbs  for the IRD itself.  Don't know about packing material..
