I think I messed up big time...

Ok about 15 minutes ago I get a recorded message from D saying they were sorry I was dropping their service and a box would be sent to return my equipment.

Last Friday I upgraded to the HDDVR and the old HD receiver has to be returned so I figured it was about that....then I start freakin out thinking "HD is coming any day and they might cut off my service by accident".

So I call them and the CSR said not to worry and she was very sorry for the scare...here is where I blew it (forgive me guys for what I am about to say) then she says "Are to profession football fan?" I answer back "No, I start watching football at playoff time"....then I realize maybe she was going to offer a football package for free or something.....so I think I blew it big time

Normally they would throw $20 at you for a few months if they felt in the wrong. Like mentioned above, they look to your account and see what you haven't subscribed to yet.

They are pushing the Sunday ticket at a reduced rate, I have called several times over the last couple of weeks for other issues and they always ask before we end the call if I watch football.
