View Full Version : NFL ST not looking good for E* next year
A trade magazine I received today reports:
Though EchoStar has "had some discussions" with the NFL about aquiring the rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket package, [Charlie] Ergan said his "expectation is that [the package] will probably remain on DirecTv."
The asking price for the package is too high for EchoStar's liking, Ergan said. "The kind of numbers we've seen that would be required [to obtain the package] would not be in our treasury," he said.

I too think NFLST will remain a D* and 4DTV exclusive through 2005, however I would not be too surprised to see MLBEI on E* next season, but that is just pure speculation on my part.

That would make me happy. But we shall see. Never trust rumors---unless you hear them from Britney Spears.
Wait I take that back. I just came back from the grocery store. Britney is apparently fooling around with Ben Affleck and trying to steal him away from Jennifer. I got this from no less authoritative a source than the National Star magazine.
That little tart!

Britney thinks the merger won't go though and that News Corp. WON'T be the buyer.
BTW, I'm just the messenger, so don't yell at me.

You guys realize that Britney is up for Yahoo's person of the year award. Some people are throwing their votes away on people like Colin Powell and Kofi Annan but it is not too late to show your support for Britney.
