View Full Version : "Exit" button won't clear "Info".....
I can't get the "Info" banner to clear when I hit "Exit" on my H20-100s
All of sudden this happened
It used to make a "boom" sound before I shut off the sound effects.
Anyone else's H20s doing this?
It drives me nuts at night. You have to hit "Info" again to get rid of the "Info" banner.
I haven't had this happen to me, but have you tried to reset the box through the menus?

For me, on my H20-100 running national release software, the info banner will not clear unless I hit exit after changing channels. This jsut started yesterday. FWIW, my banner show time is set to 2 seconds. Also I noticed that I used to be able to type in a channel such as 202 and and channel would change. Now I have to hit enter after typing in channel number. This started yesterday afternoon also.

This only happens to me when I choose a channel on the guide. First it takes forever to get the channel up after selecting it. Then the banner will not go away by pressing exit.

Last night everything was back to normal. My guess is that it must have had something to do with the new HD channels coming on line.

Actually I notice mine is a little worse. Now I can't exit the banner at all. Everytime i change a channel I have to wait for it to go away on it's own. I never realized how long it takes.
As the saying goes, watched water never boils, and a watched banner never goes away!

Try hitting "Info" and it should go away. This is what I have to do :nono2:
Also, the whole "Exit" button issue seems to come and go. Like during Primetime viewing at night, it seems to not work, but it seems to work during the day
