Are the new Starz HD channels up and running. I'm not getting them and I have a 721 error on them. I called retention and they said they didn't know what was going on and I should wait.

I get the same thing. All of the other new channels are coming in great but no Starz HD:( I've tried refreshing my services a couple of times online with no success.

I'm calling again to see where I can get with them. just wanted to confirm that someone is seeing them.

I'm having the same problem. Everything but StarszHD.

see, retention doesn't know everything. remove and readd hd access will fix this problem

The problem is I never had Starz HD line on my bill. They just got it working. They had to re add package.
518 519 520 521 522 are HD.

I would call D* now before they get really, really busy...
I had the same problem. I checked my recent account activity and did not have all the new HD access items. I could not drop/add thru directv.com (HD access checked but greyed out - could not uncheck). I called the D* CSR's and asked to have the old HD dropped and new added. It worked! All the Starz HD channels are being received now.
FYI...Here is the new activity on my account now...

Go ahead and give them a call. They dropped and re-added my HD package and I get the channels now.

It's a good idea to go ahead and call them with problems such as these.
When the general public discovers the channels are on, there's liable to be quite a wait for a CSR.

I called and didn't have any luck. They say they see that I'm authorized for StarzHD but I don't see it listed on my account. They also said that they removed and readded the HD package, but when I check recent activity I don't see that, I only see entries for the Protection Plan and DVR service.
Finally she came back and said that Starz is pending and hasn't gone live yet. :confused:
I guess I'll try again in a few minutes.

Yeah, I didn't have any luck either. She re added my hd package but it didn't work.
Go to your online account. Go to change programming, follow it through. Don't make any changes, accept the changes (even though you made none). Then check your recent activity. Any HD charge (starz, Cinemax, Sports) that you didn't have will show up.
I did this last night when I wasn't seeing one of the test channels. I was instantly watching one of them after I did this..
I got a guy who said he had to write down my information and someone would eventually figure out why I was not getting my channels. He also said that I was not getting charged extra for the channels yet. He said he would give my information to a supervisor, and when they determined what the problems were I should suddenly get authorized. I happen to also be missing 284 Science.
He didn't seem to have a clue what to do, and was saying something about it being so early.
Edit: a few hours later, everything works. My recent activity on directv.com shows Cinemax HD and Starz HD were added.
