721: Local channel remap to lower numbers?

I just installed a new PVR721. However, all went smoothly, but I was a little confused because after over 12 hours, the local channels were not displaying in the lower numbers, such as channels 4, 6, 8, 13, etc.

I know it took over 3 hours to get my channels all activated on the receiver last night, but I was expecting that once the locals were active that I would see them remapped.

Did I miss a setting to map these to their local numbers?

What version of software does your 721 have. I believe it has to be L103 or higher to have the remapped local channels.

Give it a day or so. For some reason the re-mapping doesn't happen right away on a 721.

I am not sure what the software version number is as I am at work, but it downloaded all the software last night before I even called DISH. I should have looked, but will do that tonight. I thought that I had read someplace that it does take up to a couple days for the remapping to occur, but I was not positive.

The current uptdated software should be L104. I dont know about remapping DBS received locals as my locals are not available off DBS. The 721 DOES NOT CURRENTLY have local link capability, a feature I dearly miss from my 5000 that I replaced with the 721.

I believe that receiver maps OTA channels.
