MULTI SWITCH Help & Question..

Hello, I have two of my three HR-20's working fine with all the new channels. My downstairs unit, which has the longest cable run does not see the new Sat, but it does see all the other channels. I've checked the cables, and switched various BBC's. Would the powered wide-band Zinwell switch help? I'm sure my set-up is fine as everything else works fine. Maybe the cable run is too long??
