Getting "Searching For Signal - 771" Message

Have been watching NFL Network HD this afternoon, but I am getting quite a few "Searching For Satellite Signals - 771" messages. It is not constant. I will watch for a while and then I get the message. I turn the channel and turn back and I can watch again, but message will keep coming on and off.

I checked my signal strengths and they look like this:

101- 85-95
110 - 80
119 - 78
103b - mid to high 80's on odds, BUT 60's and 50's on even transponders

Going through the proper Zinwell multi-switch.

Is this a sign that a re-alignment is in order?

Yeah, I'd have the alignment checked out. You should have all 90's really on the 101 anyway.

Check another thread for the non DVR SD receiver forum. I think a 771 is a cable issue, according to the thread.

My mom's SD receiver was getting this intermittantly all day yesterday. Her even TP's on 101 were zero.

My brother went over to her house yesterday and "jiggled" the coax behind her receiver, and it cleared up the issue. I'm going over tonight to check the connections. But the general consensus in the thread was a cable issue caused this.
