"HD" Logo in guide !?!

Guys,

I was just wondering why some HD channels show up in the guide with the "HD" logo next to the title and some don't, even though they are are HD channels ?

Not all of their programming is in true HD which is why the HD logo isn't there.

I have noticed sometimes even if it is in HD the little logo doesn't show up so you can't always trust it.

And then you have channels like TNT and Discovery that call every show HD, even when it's not.

As noted in a few other places:

The "HD" icon you see in the listing, is driven by a GUIDE data toggle.
If the content provider doesn't set the flag, or it gets "lost" between all the multiple hands that get involved with submission of the guide data..

The HD icon doesn't appear.

Not sure if it's related, but when I was resetting some of my To Do's, I clicked Showings to get when it would be on again to set the HD recording. A lot of the 1's for STARZ don't seem to show the STARZ HD channel or the HD logo in the list, but when I go directly there in the guide, it appears.
