I was born in Columbus and John you might remember that I grew up in Canton. My grandfather went to OSU. All have contributed to me following the Buckeyes and being a fan - and a fan of the Big 10 in General. I now live in South Florida, only about 45 minutes from the UM (that's University of Miami here, took some getting used to being a Big ten fan). After watching both teams play this season I honestly can't see how the Buckeyes are going to be able to stop that offense. I am sure the bucks will score plenty- the 'Canes should just score a lot more.

my guess

Canes 52

Bucks 34

If you look at my moniker I am sure you can figure out how much I like UM

OSU is the team of destiny. They haven't won the naitonal championship in almost 40 years. People are underestimating OSU. Of course Miami can't ever be the team of destiny because they are always ranked in the top 5, except that period in the mid 90's.

I'll try not to be bias with my opinion, but Miami will not score 30+ points on OSU. The Buckeyes have the best defense the Canes will see all year and TDs will not come easy to them. The Bucks DL and Linebackers are close to if not the best in the country, the secondary is shakey at times but they have two senior safeties, in Doss and Nickey, and two solid corners.

On the offensive side of the ball, OSU should be able to get some points on the board if they can get the run game going. Remember, Miami has close to the 80th run defense in the nation by giving up close to 170ypg. If Clarett is healthy and is running the ball well, Miami will be in some trouble. The OSU offense matches up very well with the Canes defense, better than any other team in the top 5, and if they can get the run game going it could be trouble for Miami because you saw what a team running the ball against them could do in the Pittsburgh, WV, Rutgers and Temple game, but this time the Bucks should be able to stop Miami from scoring at will.

I'm not going to say Ohio State will easily win the game or even will the game and I will say the same thing about Miami as well, but I will say that Miami will not be able to beat the Buckeyes by 38 or some large amount. Those who are saying the Buckeyes will get blown out because they struggled on the road are completely blind if you don't see that Miami has struggled with quite a few teams as well. Neither team is invinsible and believe it or not it will be a great game with either team having a great shot to win the national championship.

I know, I'm a homey. :D
