721 Missed Timer (Sopranos!)

First time this happened to me after god knows how many recordings and it was the Sopranos timer of all things! Luckily, I was there and and noticed that there was no red light a couple of minutes after the start of the program, so I just went ahead and watched it without missing much. However, when I went into the PVR menu, the timer for 9pm was still there and I couldn't delete it because it was telling me that it was recording even though no recording was actually taking place!
I really hope L105 will fix this!

My 501 did not pick up the extra 20 minutes, luckily I was watching it live at the time and set a new recording for HBO-W at 9 pm.

using the record "once" option my 508 did record the entire show knowing that it lasted about 1hr and 20 min.

Help!! Just got the 721...

I am having a couple problems... Big Problems


1. when I hit record while watching a show the pop up menu comes up asking when to stop recording. Here is the problem when I select "stop recording at the end of this event" button it will not let me click on the "done" button. Thus making this option non functional

2. I have setup several recorder events and they never record. I almost missed the 7th episode of "Taken". (that may not have been any big loss. Well anyway I would like to be able to use the timer to record shows.

I have not call dish network yet, in fear that they would not have any real answers accept that I must be doing somthing wrong

So if any of you sugestions please let me know..


I will try to power off the system and see if I get lucky..

By the way I was in the middle of watching "Taken" while typing my last post so please excuse my pooooor grammer.

You need to click on the "Create" button when you're doing a new recording (timer). The "Done" button is for when you're editing an existing timer.
