Recordings not in HD on Season Passes

It seems that my season passes are being recorded in SD even though a new HD channel is available. For example "How it's Made" was recorded in SD even though I am reasonably certain it was aired in HD. I assume the SD channels are still being broadcast but we are redirected top the HD version if we have the correct tuner but does not seem to affect the season passes the same way. Am I going to have to re-create them? Will a future CE take care of this? This is on my HR20-700.

You need to recreate all of your series links to point to the new HD channel. Even thought the channel numbers are the same the HR20 thinks of it as a different channel. Just recreate the links with the HD channels and delete the old SD links.
