Best I could find. http://www.thetvremote.com/tnt-buys-broadcast-rights-to-warner-brothers-300/ From what it says, 18 month window prior to TNT getting it. So sounds like this December or January.

It will be April 2008 before you see any of these movies on these channels.

Watch this movie. It is very beautifully shot and sharply written.

Agreed. Classic cinema? Probably not, but one of the most creative and well executed adaptations of a graphic novel that I have ever seen. I own it on Blu-ray, and it is a pleasure to watch in HD. The intentionally added artificial film grain just makes the bits that don't have the grain added (like the many, many, many, many blood splatters) pop out of the screen with a very 3D like effect. The use of freeze frame during the action sequences is also very effective.
Just a warning for those that haven't seen it, despite its "comic book" roots, this movie is NOT for kids. Woulda given me nightmares...

If you'd like more of the history behind it too, search for The Last Stand of the 300 :
Scholars explore the epic ancient battle between seven thousand Greek soldiers and the formidable Persian Empire at the Battle of Thermopylae; the battle took place along a narrow pass in Northern Greece, where the Greeks awaited the onslaught.
I caught it on the History Channel earlier today.
I am surprised at how many insist that the story is pure fiction. Herodotus is spinning in his grave.

Hmm, I don't know of anyone that thinks that. I thought its basis was common knowledge.

We bought this movie on Blu Ray the day we bought our PS3 and I think it is well worth buying.
Blu_ray makes the picture all the more clearer - and the first time I ever saw it was in HD:)

Yes, it was on history channel. I recorded it later at night so as not to interfere with other recordings. Want to show it to grand-sugars to show them the real story.
