channels 525, 526-532...???

the rumours are that ch 525 is advertising currently: "Coming Dec 14th, More PPV movies"
and rumours are that 526-532 are in place now....

if those rumours are true, does anyone know future plans for those:
if those will stay permanently with regular PPV movies on them or if they will be Spanish PPV movies or if this is some type of Christmas promotion with PPV Christmas Movies and the channels will go away after Christmas???

Dish Network is the provider.

Right now I don't have a channel 525, it seems to have become channel 538, but 538 was previously used as a mirror of event channel 455 on the 61.5/148 satellites. I wonder what became of that 538.

Unless of course you ve mistaken those for the DTV's 500s porn channels (some sort of more Movies PPVs there but at lower 500s instead of highter ones :)

The mirrors of the Sports/Events channels that used to be in the 530s are now in the 470s. PPV 525 is now 538

I thought it was a reasonable question. I have no idea where DTV PPVs are so why not ask. As for the porn I block the porn so I am not aware of where it is.

On the side satellites (61.5 or 148) channel 538 is now 470, channel 537 is now 471, and channel 536 is now 472.

ch 512 is no longer listed on the 119 guide.

Actually I first got here from the new post screen. I foolishly did not see the "Dish Network" in the title of the forum at the top of the page and was intrigued. I did not know which provier was messing with PPV or why.

All of this proves something that everyone knew already. Namely that, at times, I am dumber than dirt. At other times my intelligence is roughly equal to that of dirt.

I hope they add more movies to there. I don't really like having 4 channels devoted to crap like Mr. Deeds and only 1 to a movie like Monsoon Wedding or Brotherhood of the Wolf. They should get more movies, and (by some miracle) add another HP-PPV channel. I don't mind paying $6 to see any movie in HD!
