HR21-100 "Out There?"

Just noticed on the Game Lounge they say: "By November the following receivers will be supported: R15 (DVR Plus receiver) HR21-100 (HD DVR black model). The H20 is targeted for mid-September. They can be reached at gamelounge@directv.com

I thought the HR21 (rack mounted?) was scheduled for later this year/early next year release!

Here's (http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=100595) one report of someone getting one. That's an HR21-700, maybe the HR21-100 is different?

Well, last week Earl posted a link to another site that allowed us to select which receiver we had and the SW version and to state weather we could receive the test channels. I remember seeing a few H21 or HR21s in the list. Seems like there were less than 5 total H21,HR21 the last time I checked. Hard to know though if the people responding were legitimate or maybe they were DTV testers not regular subs.

granted the person received one, but also he noted D* called him back stating it was sent by mistake and he needed to return it.

The H21 standalone DIRECTV receiver is currently in field trials. In fact, I have one myself. The HR21 has been known about for some time as a receiver that may one day be available. However, until the recent poster who received one erroneously, little else was known about the HR21 - including the color.
