I am sure I read something about this on this forum, but I can't find it. Is it possible to connect a USB hub to the 622 and than run a chill pad and an external hard drive at the same time? Thanks for any help.

Have you considered running the chill pad off one port and the external drive off the other port?

No, it is not possible at this time to use a hub. We're all hoping that a future software update allows for this... I'm also praying for World Peace.

I currently use a hub with 2 USB drives. It works just fine as long as I only turn 1 drive on at a time.

Don,

You can't use a USB hub with your 622 but you can get a USB hub that allows you to use an external power supply (a wall wart) to power the USB hub. You can then run four devices, like fans or chill pads, that require power from the USB device.

Thanks, I will try that. The way I have to have my 622 set up, it requires some sort of cooling device. I also want to utilize an external hard drive without using the front USB port.
