Ok, so I live in Wisconsin and it's getting closer to Winter time and I don't want the extended blackouts I had last year due to snow accumulation on the dish and LNBs.
So, with that being said... does anyone have any particular luck with any certain dish covers? There are tons out there, and I don't know which one to get. Knowing my luck, I'll get one that screws up signal strength and hoses my system.
In case you think to ask: no, there is zero chance I am going outside when it is snowing with a broom to wipe the snow off manually. I thought about buying a super soaker at one point and filling it with windshield washing fluid, but that didn't pan out as I hoped. The point is, it's piss cold outside and I don't want to go out there just to get TV. And it's definitely from snow accumulation on the dish, because it would be out all night even after the snow storm passed, and in the morning when the sun would melt the snow off of the dish, it would be fine.
I have a DirecTV dish with the 5 LNBs (two sets of them).
