Last night, and continuing this morning, I am having an intermittent error when attempting to tune to the KCCI - Des Moines, IA channel. The message that I receive is "Your smartcard is not authorized to view this programming." I can simply tune to another station and then back to KCCI and I see the programming fine. When I do get the station, it is solid. It is not breaking up or anything like that. Also, this message does not come up every time that I tune to KCCI, rather maybe every 4th or 5th time.
When I look at signal strengths, 110 transponder 6 is zero. The rest of the transponders on 110 range from signal strengths of 113 to 128. How can 1 transponder be 0? I don't know if this is related to the KCCI issue or not.
Last night and today, we have had dense low fog here. I also don't know if this is related or not.
Dish wants to send out a technician which is fine. But before I take vacation, I am just trying to understand what may be wrong.
Thanks.
