Well my 12-4 install is not on the subs list today :mad:

Should I ask for something for my troubles?

And why would I need a Multi switch ?

That's why you need a multi-switch.

If he only has 2 H20's and is switching his R15 to an HR20, he would not need a multiswitch. However, if you are planning on adding more boxes at any point or switching a H20 for an HR20, then you should have them install the multiswitch.

I read that as 2 H20's, one R15, and a soon to be added HR20. That would be a total of 6 lines, and the need for a multi-switch. If the HR20 is a replacement for the R15, then you are correct.

Completely agree. Wasn't sure either, but being he was questioning why, I assumed it meant replaced. Either way I agree.

Just a little heads up in case you don't know. The Multi-switch will be a Zinwell WB68. Four outputs from the dish to the four inputs of the multi-switch. That will give you 8 outputs total.
