Good Tech Help

After four years had to have a tech come to the house, lost all signal, etc on 9/27 following a brief shower. Tech arrived yesterday and immediately fixed several problems that the installer had created in August when I upgraded to HD. The dish actually could be moved just by touching it, the LNB was bad, and the connectors he used were not tight allowing water to get in. The tech started by putting a new pole over the existing pole, attaching it with self tapping screws, and alligning the dish. Everything was done in about 30 minutes. Now my dish is very secure and all of my sat transponders are in the 90's. This tech was excellent, he was courteous and actully new what he was doing. Oh by the way, love dbstalk.

I also had a positive experience this weekend.

I had a tuner not working on the HR20, I did all tests, power off, rerun setup, switch cables, remove the little boxes, always the same thing, tuner 2 not working.

I called support all prepared for a long afternoon. I told the nice lady that I had already done all this stuff so she said "OK we'll just send you another one then". All done in 5 minutes.
