I have a current install (slimline) where two of the four outputs go to one HR20, and the remaining two go into my attic where they hook into a WB68. Off of the 68 I feed 2 R10s, and one older tivo.
Tomorrow I am having an install done that will replace the older tivo with a HR20. do I need the instaler to run all four lines to the 68, then split off to the 2 HR20s and 2 R10s?
Thanks in advance!

Yes you need all 4 lines from the dish to go to the WB68 and then separate lines from the WB68 to the receiver's.
you can run 2 lines to the wb68, but you wont have hd

True, but given that he is replacing one of his older units with an HR20 I can't imagine why that would be a satisfactory option.
Four lines to the multiswitch, then wire from there to each receiver/dvr tuner.

Do you really need four lines into a WB68 Multiswitch.. The answer is yes. That switch acts like a Freeway for Voltage and Tone requests. If all lines are not there for those requests then it cant go nowhere and what do you get.. searching for satellite (771)
