If Murdock gets DTV what do you think the future of HDTV D* will be?

I personally think that Murdoch will NOT get DirecTV.
In any case, both providers can't provide all the channels in HDTV plus locals with present capacity and technology.
If he somehow does manage to get DirecTV I don't think he's stupid enough to alienate customers by killing HDTV.

Remember - Murdoch is the brainchild behind FOX High Resolution Widescreen "is the same as HDTV - the consumer won't care"

I for one will be happy if Murdoch gets it no matter what.....at least he isnt Charlie....and I wont have to worry about losing channels or packages because Rupe will be more than willing to pay the cash and get what his subs want....and not come up with lame excuses why he cant bring on a particular service unlike Charlie

Charlie isn't as bad as you say, in my experience. Do you have evidence to back that up?
I have a gut feeling that Murdoch would be bad for directv.
