Hello all, just got my HR20 setup today and moved my old HR10-250 to the bedroom.

Has DirecTV setup remote scheduling of recording of shows yet via their website? Apparently the only button on their TV listings for me is to add to favorites, there is no record button yet.

Correct.

Remote Scheduling is not available yet.

Nope. That would require enabling networking of the box, which is not there yet, I don't believe.

So an active network connection would be required for this? I guess after it establishes connectivity, whatever you schedule on the website is pushed to the DVR in the form of "record X show on Y channel at Z time?" The show still comes from the Sat, but the command to schedule is pushed via the internet?

The "what's this" button under the "add to favorites" button still refers to a record button that is obviously not there yet, so maybe its close?

If it's worth $99 to you, a slingbox AV works like a charm for both remote scheduling and viewing...

Networking is not required for remote booking, I believe.

Earl documented how it works here:
