View Full Version : Sorry to ask a question that has probably been asked-IS there a way to remove the SD
Sorry folks. This is a simple question that has no unique search word to get less than 100+ hits.
I would like to remove the duplicate SD channel guide listings. With all the HD channels coming the guide is going to get very cluttered. I am a real surfer and I watch every kind of show so for me to get a favorites guide to my liking would take hours to set up. I am better eliminating channels I never watch.
Thank in advance.

Yes... and No.
Yes there is a simple way, but it is only available in the current CE versions of the software for the boxes.
So once that goes national... yes, there will be an easy way.

Thanks Earl. I look forward to its release!

I'm sorry but with an H20 with the last update, channels are in my Favorites that I have not checked when I set it up.
My list has the "standard" HD channel listing that was there before the new HD channel launch and now they are in my favorite list and I have not added them as well as all the Game Lounge channels and Music channels and more that I can't think of at the moment.
And to top it all off, I have DIY and the RFD channel checked in my Favorites and they don't show up in any category except "All Channels In Favorites".

Each time they release new HD channels, I go through my Favorite Channels list and add the HD channels while removing the SD versions. I also double check to see if there are any other channels I just don't care about when I channel surf and remove those also.

Any idea when this will be a national release? I too would like to get rid of the SD channels as my guide is getting out of control...

I personally think we will see one before the end of October.

I would guess soon, but that is just a guess (albeit an educated guess).
