Hello everyone, and welcome to the final week of the DBSTalk Survivor: Thailand Contest! 36 days have passed for the Survivors on the island, and 12 weeks have passed for our contest.

As there will be no reward challenge in the final episode, another poll will be substituted. The final immunity challenge in every survivor to date thus far has been a physically demanding endurnace challenge. So, the new poll will be in the final immunity challenge, which Survivor will be the FIRST one eliminated from the challenge.

to here is how the final 29 points available will break out:

Day 37 Immunity Challenge - 3 points

Survivor Voted Out on Day 37 (4th Place) - 5 points

Day 38 Immunity Challenge - 3 points

Survivor eliminated FIRST from the Day 38 Immunity Challenge - 3 points

Survivor Voted out on Day 38 (3rd Place) - 5 points

Which Survivor Wins Survivor: Thailand - 10 points (or maybe more aptly titled Which Survivor has pissed off the former Sook-Jai members the least?)

Polls will go online later this morning. Any questions, please post them here. Poll deadlines will remain midnight eastern time next Wednesday, the 18th.

Looking at the results, with 29 points available this final week:

Anyone with 11 points or above has a chance to win the 3rd place prize

Anyone with 13 points or above has a chance to win the 2nd place prize

Anyone with 29 points or above has a chance to win the 721!

That means that of 157 players, the top 80 players still have a chance to win a prize! Make sure you vote this week in all 6 polls!

If the final immunity challenge is a long race rather than a hands on totem pole type contest, how will you judge the winner for the person eliminated first?

If the final immunity challenge ends up being a race type challenge, then the poll will work like this:

If one survivor gives up along the race, that will be survivor "eliminated first", and be the correct answer for the poll.

If the all three survivors finish the race, the survivor finishing in last place will be the survivor considered "elimiated first" and will be the correct answer for the poll.

If it's not clear which survivor finishes 2nd and which one finishes last, the points will be awarded to both survivors, both of them will be considered correct answers for the poll.

Make sense?

Sounds good to me. Nice and logical.

Now on to considering my predicament: Do I play it safe or risk it all grabbing the top prize?

a) do I go with what I think will be the winners, and accept 2nd or 3rd place assuming I'm right (and Cory is right too). The advantage of this approach is that if Cory totally blotches it, I can win it all. But Cory has yet to blotch it...

b) do I go with picks that are totally contrarian, sacrificing any chance of 2nd or 3rd in the hopes that all the polls and predictions are wrong, thus allowing me to pull a surprise upset if the favored candidate fails to win the Jury.

I think I'll just flip a coin.

Danny, I can only tell you one thing that is absolutely a sure bet in the final round: Pastor John isn't going to win. Aside from that, I have an idea who's going to end up where, but honestly this is still anybody's game. And they haven't helped us out much with the promos yet.

Crap... what do you mean Pastor John isn't going to win. I was betting it all that they would pull a surprise rule change and allow him back in the game. Argh, can you change my votes? ;)

Well, all done voting now. My fate is in another's hands now.

I've a good feeling I either nailed it, or totally mucked it up... given my record the latter is much more probable. So everyone else make certain you vote because my position in the top 3 is definately vulnerable!

Yeah, my votes are in as well...the final week's a toughie. But that's why it's worth so many points! :D

The winner of the contest has already been determined (or it will be determined as soon as the polls close), since the events took place months ago. We just have to wait for the results to be revealed to us.

Well, in the past they said they did not open the ballot box until the studio segment on the final night. I wonder what steps they do take to keep the winner a secret.

I'm sure that's how they're doing it tonight. But in any case, the votes have already been cast and have been sitting in the ballot box since August waiting to be revealed.
