Stuck on L1.02

I recently noticed that my 721 is still running 1.02. I called Advanced technical support who had me check switch settings, check signal strength, unhook, unplug, reboot and still no hint that the stubborn thing is willing to download at all. So they now want to swap my box for a new receiver, which I guess I'm going to do but I hate to lose the programs I've got recorded. Any ideas on other ways get it to download (or the best way to offload my programs) would be greatly appreciated.

Wayne,

Press PIP on your Remote
Then Press Swap
Then Press PIP again to shut PIP Off.

The download should start in a few minutes. :) Let me know if this worked. :)

Someone must have prayed to the PVR gods on my behalf today because when I got home from work my 721 had version 1.07...yay! I didn't even get a chance to try your suggestion Scott, but thanks alot. Goodbye bugs and good riddance!
