My HD Washington, DC locals are pixelating a lot during daylight hours, enough to make them unwatchable. The rest of my HD channels and standard definition channels are fine. The receivers having the problem are Directv model H20, manufacturer 100. Could this be due to the sunspot activity this month? Thanks.:)

What are your signal readings for each transponder on the 99 and 103-deg satellites when you see the problem?

It's not due to sunspots.

On the 99 satellite, 6 transponders all showing 0.
On the 103a, 7 tansponders showing 0 23 0 0 0 0 0.
On the 103b, 16 total, 95 93 95 93 94 91 95 93
94 92 95 94 94 92 0 0
0 0 0 0 0 95 0 0 .

You should have at least a few transponders on 99 or 103a with >90 signal readings. Something is wrong with your dish (LNB or internal multiswitch). Best to call DirecTV for a service visit.

Thanks for the advice, I'll give Directv a call.
