While looking for the last 3 episodes of Buffy Season 6 on FX, I stumbled upon that these episodes will be airing on UPN (my local and superstations) on January 24th and another date.

According to my TiVo guide it said on UPN 12/24 8pm ET "Normal Again" and 9pm "Villains"

"Normal again" was an episode that FX never aired from late in season 6 and "Villians" is 3rd to last episode of season 6 that also never aired. I assume that "Two to Go" and "Grave" will air the following week 12/31.

Why would FX have syndication rights to Season 6 minus 5 episodes, and at least not tell its viewers that the missing episodes it won't air will air somewhere else?

FX has the rights, but understand, if the powers that be want to restrict airing certain episodes they plan to repeat on UPN, they durn well can do so(remember, FX is Foxed own, so the relationship is not quite the same as it would be between fox and , say, klta)-they did this last year with repeats on UPN of the joyce's death episode, but included it in the loop on fx the following rotation...

A friend has all of Buffy season 7 on his 501, and was hoping that he could start watching them after this past friday (when FX should have aired the season 6 finale) Now he has to wait till Dec 24th (before he can watch those episodes). Why do things get so difficult when they seemed to be going so easy :(

IIRC, the final three episodes of the sixth season is the "Dark Willow" episodes.

He wants to see the ending of Season 6 on (FX/UPN) before starting Season 7 (on his 501). Thats the problem with continuing storyline shows :D
