I believe that the RC64R is the current RF remote shipped with new HR20s. There is also a backlit version (RC64RB?) The range is probably the same. The HR20-700 is much more sensitive to an RF remote even though its antenna is internal rather than external.

thanx a lot--so u would use the rc64rb rather than the older rc32rf
