VS HD College Footbal PQ

I just wanted to comment that I was extremely impressed with the PQ of the USC - Standford game on VS HD. It was crystal clear.... no motion blur.... very sharp.... everything HD sports should be. It had to be one of the best looking games I have ever seen (not to mention a great game). CBS, ABC, and ESPN could learn a thing from VS about what an HD football game is supposed to look like. I have been very impressed with the HD quality of the new HD channels. Can't wait until D* converts the ESPN signals over to mpeg4 so that they could look like something even close to the VS HD pq.

I posted something similar on the Programming forum. I agree 100%. I am not a Pac 10 fan, but I happened to stumble upon the game and was immediately captured by the excellent PQ. Can't get much better IMO. Somebody responded to my comments on the other forum saying the PQ was mediocre at best. I just can't fathom that, but to each their own. There is one thing I have come to learn in my short time on these forums... there are very different opinions on PQ no matter what.

I went to the game and was disappointed by the outcome (as an SC alum) even though it was more fun to watch a close game.

I watched it on my HR20 today and was stunned by the outstanding PQ. I was also stunned that SC still lost even on the recorded version!!!
