PPV Movie Locations

Why does Dish not group the same PPV movie together? It drives me insane to have to hunt for a movie. ie Panic Room ch 514, 516, 530, 533 instead of 502, 503, 504, 505. DTV does this, why can't Dish?

Also, why does Dish not have a different start time for movies on the 61.5 ppv channel 533. They seem to mirror another channel instead of offering a different start time.

They skip the channel numbers because they may have a different type of PPV or some of them are at another orbital location.

Sometime 533 is a mirror and sometimes it is not. Before 533 was showing Panic Room, it was the only Dish on Demand channel showing Brotherhood of the Wolf. It appears 533 is a mirror of 514. Next week Insomnia will be showing on those channels.

That still does not make sence to me since DTV has no problem grouping the same movie in consecutive channels.

As for the 533 mirror, that seems like a waste of a revenue producing channel.

Well, you may have noticed they do not want to be accused of copying what DirecTV does. :)

Some people only have 61.5 for international programming, Dish needs some way to suck them into paying too much for a movie.
