Privacy solutions, anyone?
The ability to review past movie/PPV purchases on one's account is not password protected. All past purchases are available with a few clicks on the remote. So, I've discovered, when I have someone house-sit for me, they've got full opportunity to review what I've been watching over the last year, what I've paid for it, etc.
I get DirecTV service via Pegasus. I called them and they tell me that there's no way for them to clear the record - and confirmed that access to that information is not password protected. Tough luck, they say.
Is this the way it is via all providers? Any better from DirecTV directly? Any other fixes?

This is an oft-discussed topic. There isn't any way to delete your PPV's as far as I know. I know this doesn't help, but in the future, order your PPV's off of the directv.com website. There is no record of those kept on your receiver.

They could put a software release to the receiver to lock that particular screen out if they wanted to.

They will stay on the card until you buy 20 PPV's, then they will scroll off one at a time starting with the oldest.
If you truly fear someone finding out you've watched some porn or a Backstreet Boys concert or whatever, call Directv and buy a new card for $20, then have Directv activate it as new without copying the old card.

Is it free to order off the website..... I'm sure I could read and find out but this will be easier because someone will have the answer and save me reading time :)

thats the best thing to order off the website, because if you call them via telephone, they charge you i think, $5.00 Fee. i might be wrong on that. But all order on the webiste are Free.

Yes, I've tried that. Doesn't work. As other postings indicate, it seems to simply be the way they planned it.
