Perhaps I just missed it, but just when does Directv switch over to an exclusive MPEG 4 signal? This is important to me because I have both an HR20-700 and an HR10-250 on line at the present time.

Exclusive MPEG4 for the HiDef channels will probably happen later in 2008. Exclusive MPEG4 for everything probably won't happen for several years.

However, it's worth mentioning that I'd be REAL surprised to see any new MPEG2 channels.

I think we might see a few more markets with local MPEG2 SD Locals as bandwidth frees up when the MPEG2 HD channels move to the new satellites.
