I have been having issues with this unit. Sometimes when in the middle of playing a recorded show it locks up. I then either have to wait until is starts responding again (many minutes) or last night it rebooted on it's own and then the show was gone.

Also when in the list, I delete a show and then it closes the list and goes to live TV. It has never done this before.

Anyone else have these issues?

Well 0x10A4 is going to soon be replaced.

There is new version 0x10AB/C that is slowing rolling it out now..
Coudl still be a few weeks until it is there.

But... your problem, could be related to a hard drive issue... not necessary software.

If I forced a download would it pick up the latest version?

No ... once your DVR is added to the rollout it will download automagically.
