I will be moving to a new home in a couple of weeks and just placed an order for an HR20. I have a couple of questions.

1. I just placed the order for an HR20 and a 2nd SD receiver. I have a 1080p and 720p tv. The guy I placed the order with said I needed the 2nd SD order to get them to run the cable. I read on another thread where I can use HR20 to run to 2 TVs. Will the different resolutions be a problem? Should I still get the 2nd SD receiver (I only really watch HD and don't need different channels on each tv at same time)?

2. If the HOA for my townhome says I can't have a satellite dish over a certain size, that usually does not apply to directv dishes, correct?

3. Anything specific for the dual HR20 install I should make sure the installer does?

1) As long as your 720p TV accepts an 1080i signal.. (and down converts it)... you can run it at 1080i... else you will need to run at 720p.

2) DirecTV dishes are with in the legal limits from the FCC

3) Not really

If my rooms are good distance apart, am I better off running HDMI or Component cable?

Not sure... one of the other experts around here will have to help you on that one

Obviously if you can run HDMI there's only one cable to pull, rather than component and audio cables. How far is a "good" distance.

I would say it is probably a 50ft run.

There is cat5 throughout the house and did see an option to run the HDMI over ethernet in another thread, but it didn't seem worth the price (~$300).

Think I am better off trying to run HDMI, getting a 2nd HD receiver, or just waiting till some networking solution is available for the HR20?

It would be easier to run HDMI, since it is smaller than component. Also, you would need the RCA audio cables with component. HDMI 50' cable at monoprice is around $43:

Monoprice 50' HDMI cable (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240&cs_id=1024002&p_id=2110&seq=1&format=2)
