I was watching the Chiefs-Bengals game earlier today and had some audio issues. The sound went out over the Digital Coaxial of the HD20-100 with the HD20 set to output Dolby Digital. The output of stereo sound from my TV (using HDMI for audio) still worked fine. When I turned DD OFF in the HD20's menu the sound through the Digital Coaxial came back ON!

Having had this equipment for only a few days I began to think "maybe the -100 just won't ouput DD over coaxial." So I checked the Dallas-New England game and everything worked fine, the Harman Kardon receiver recognized DD through Coaxial no problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem? BTW I was watching both games on the HD NFL Sunday Ticket Channels.

I think I read somewhere they are having known issues with that. I could be wrong though.

I read through all the posts on the sticky above but none seemed to pertain to this specific failing. Seems similar but I got the impression that it was only a Digital Coaxial problem. I will be watching for it to happen again.

There are Audio Dropouts occuring - scan or search the threads .. not sure if your problem has anything to do with DD. What channel was the game on? If CBS, that appears to be the worst - but most/all of the LILs via MPEG4 are having this issue. What I did was change to the West Coast feed of CBS (LA) and the dropouts ceased for the Raiders Game on Sunday - giving more credence that it is a LIL / MPEG4 issue ... IMHO ...

I reported it to D* (MPEG4 over LILs - CBS) just to get them to hear that there is an issue going on. I encourage everyone having this issue to make that call.
