8 hour (1 hour) episode of Journeyman

For the second time my HR20 has recorded a one hour show as 8+ hrs. First time it was CSI:Miami. Nobody else has had this happen?

Yeah, I had an episode of Desperate Housewives record for approx. 24 hours this past spring. My drive (hadn't added the eSATA at that point) was about 95% full and I couldn't figure out why. Kept looking through the list and counting up the hours and thought something was wrong with the drive.

I was just hoping to find more people who have experienced this to see if they had a way to resolve it.

I had this happen on CBS and FOX one night. Got up and saw both of them recording in the morning. Sure glad that the shows I really want to watch are all KUID since 18+ hours of overnight HD recording completely filled up my drive.

Not sure what to say about resolving it since it was such a fluke occurrence. Although that is among the reasons I now use KUID for most shows instead of keep until space needed. (It helps that I now have a much larger hard drive). I used to think that I'd rather have an episode from several weeks ago get deleted than have it fill up and stop recording new stuff. But the thought of it potentially recording hours and hours and hours of stuff in the middle of the night and throughout the next day, I'd rather have something to make it stop recording if this were to ever happen again.
