EchoStar's DISH Network Now Available at CompUSA Nationwide; CompUSA Stores to Distribute JVC-Branded Satellite TV Products

LITTLETON, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2002--EchoStar Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH) announced today that DISH Network satellite TV receivers are now available at 229 CompUSA stores nationwide.

CompUSA will carry the JVC line of satellite TV receivers. Installation of the dish antennas will be performed by DISH Network's national installation network.

I wonder when they will start selling the DISH products in their stores? It would be nice if they ran some promotional deals in the beginning?!

Also, I found what appears to be a good deal on the 721 -- its a www.ideamaster.com/dish.htm and they offer the 721 for 509 + 20 shipping. They don't penalize you an extra $30 like thesatelliteguy.com does for replacement (vs additional) receivers. This looks like the best online deal for a replacement 721 that I have found anywhere. They also have great prices on first time subscriber deal on the 721 also.

I wonder how many other computer outlets they are going to try to sell their product at? How about the Gateway stores? lol
