4900 problem

Anyone have this?

Our 4900 is our second reciever in our master bedroom.  So we don't use it as much as the other. Each day this week when I have turned the tv on the screen is blank and I can't do anything until I unplug the receiver and then plug it back in....

what's up with this?

Try pulling and reinserting the card, GENTLY cklean the gold contacts with a soft eraser. My one remaing 4900 does this from time to time.

I've had this same problem with my 4900 since it was upgraded for Dish Home. Pulling and reinserting the smart card always clears it up for me.

Software is often the problem but mine did it before the upgrade...
