Hi there,
The twinkling stars background is making my system hitch and the audio crackle. It happens with MSIE, Opera and Netscape. Can you please STOP IT! :D
See ya

WinXP running on Pentium 3 700 MHz with 2.5 Gigs of ram and 128 megs of video ram.
The problem is I'm one of those "blessed" with Windows XP/GForce/Creative Bug. These three components (Windows XP, GForce 2 video card and Creative sound card (forgot the chip set) get together to form garbage from time to time. There are extensive threads in the WinXP and Creative newsgroups about this from a year ago. I just haven't brought myself to ugdate any component of my computer. I suffer from the "mightaswells". I'll end up building a whole new computer! :-)

Tony,
Sorry to hear about your problem, I am away at the moment so I can't change it, if you want go to your control panel and pick another style (this will fix the backround problem for you)
When I get home I will check with Chris if we have another backround we can use. :)
Happy Holidays

Tony,
Bummer. I really would like to stick with this background. I think it looks neat.
Is anyone else having any problems?
I deliberately didn't place the background on the other styles so you are free to change it. Might I suggest the VBulletin default which has the same general color scheme.

I think the background is cool as well, but it's causing my system at home to be really jerky over my cable modem connection. Mouse control is very sluggish. It's usable, just not very smooth. But, I can live with it for another week.

The background looks nice, but after months of using the dark scheme I just can't go back to light colors.

Hey guys...I'll live with it if I'm the only one having problems. The way Mark describes it is essentially what is happening to me with the added attaction of lousy audio when I'm playing MP3s or listening to the holiday channel.
I'll just change the settings to a custome "look" until the season is over and you go back to the status quo.
See ya

Zac as they said above, just change your theme in the control panel to something else.
