I have a H20 (version 0x2021). None of the new HD channels will come in. It's a black screen and the "searching for signal" box flickers in and out. Why do none of these channels work?
Any suggestions?

Several things could be potentially going wrong. First and foremost, what are your signals on the 103b satellite? Do you have the BBC installed? Do you have a multiswitch? If so, which one?

Sounds like you need a BBC or your BBC is bad.

Assuming it did work and it is now searching for signal, I would suspect it is just that. The tuner has lost its signal, dish moved, cable came loose or like suggested bad BBC(doubt it). Very possibly a bad LNB, there have been some troublesome ones with the higher frequencies from 103b.

No multiswitch. I do have b-band converter. See attached for 103b readings.
Also, on my HR21 its perfectly fine. I have reading for every transponder. It appears as if the one on this unit keeps changing or not reading anything. Is this a bad BBC?

Switch one from the HR20.

You should have readings on all active transponders. This is very strange. If you have another BBC try it to eliminate that.

I tried a BBC from the HR21 that is working fine, but that did not help. Same results.

If you can take the H20 and hook it to a cable going to your HR21. Are you getting the HD channels in the 70's?

I get all the HD channels in the 70's. In fact, I get the 206 and 209 ESPN's but none of the others.
Try swapping the reciever location ex. the H20 to the HR21 location.
Do you get the new channels now?
The most likly problem is the cable or connectors on the cable.
Although it could be the reciever it is not very common.
Do you get HD locals in your area, if so are they comming in?

Is your H20 set up for the 5-LNB dish, or is it still set up for the older 3-LNB dish? You may need to go into set up and make an adjustment.

I re-setup the H20 for the 5 LNB dish. I thought that was the ticket. But it didn't help. The only thing I have not done yet, was take the H20 into the room with the HR20 and try it on those lines.
It's really weird. Like I said I get all the channels I am suppose to except the new HD channels.
I wanted to try here first before I went and did a CSR call....
